still icy in Tulsa

I lived most of my life in Arizona. A rainy day gave me cause to smile! Now, the change of seasons is just awesome and I love it when we get a bout of crazy weather like the ice storm that came through Oklahoma. I feel bad for those that don't have power, but the feeling that this weekend, everyone in my city snuggled up in their homes and stayed off the streets is just amazing. Everything was shut down, even the churches! Imagine that, church is canceled in Tulsa! Here are a few pictures of my day yesterday. I drove M to work and I did some work also, it was supposed to be a holiday but I forgot and planned a visit. So, the roads were pretty bad, but when I got home, I took a long walk with our dog Molly, to get her out of the house. We didn't leave a single footprint, the roads and sidewalks were hard with ice. Luckily, it was frozen sleet so it was almost like sandpaper and wasn't too slick.
