January 22

Today is a strange day... there are days that I feel very unnecessary. It feels a little dreary, the ice is melting, but it is still gray outside.

I got Alex's birthday presents off in the mail. I sent them certified and return receipt... crazy, but I hope he does get what I sent. I haven't been able to talk to the boys since Christmas.. still trying. Andy said that he wanted me to call. You would think that he would pick up the phone.

Today, I spent the day alone, first I took care of the present, then had lunch, but couldn't get online, so now I am at Border's (pictured above) in the corner with my ipod in my ears, and I have been doing some work. Tomorrow, the long drive will take place, but I will be working in the afternoon.
