The Boys

It only took a few hours for the boys to jump right back into being comfortable at dads.

My mom and step father flew with the boys here and my father took all of them to the airport. My father called me to let me know just how excited the boys were to come to visit.. how relaxed that they looked and how much they talked about everything that they wanted to do in a week.

At first, Andy asked over and over for me to buy him 4 things. I had a talk with him.. I know that he was told to do this.. because I saw him give Alex a dirty look as if he was saying 'look, why aren't you going along with this?' My mom did buy him an early birthday present... so she knows that he will get it. He is having fun playing that Tony Hawk Playstation game :)

Last night, I had to work a little later than normal and I called home and my mother said that the boys wanted to wait until I got home to have dinner. We have been eating dinner at our dinging room table.. so cool! we have a full house!

I am only working today and then taking the rest of the week off.

Everything is great! More than ever, I know that the boys remember and know that I love them very much.

62. The hardest thing that I ever had to do was to identify my sister’s dead body. I was the first to arrive at the hospital. She was killed by a drunk driver.

69. My favorite band is U2 but I really disliked them when I was younger. I think it was their first album that I didn’t like.
70. I sometimes realize my age, but most of the time I would never guess that I am as old as I am.
71. I had to go pee at number 54, but waited until number 70.. so I wouldn’t lose my train of thought.
72. I stopped taking my asthma medicine and I guess I don't have asthma anymore
73. I used to be a hard core punk rocker and I ran a skateshop, hung out with Henry Rollins and have a pin in my foot from a skateboard accident.
