boys

Friday

I had another talk with Alex about time and visitation.  He explained to me that when I lived in Arizona he was always confused.. he never knew where he was going to be for the weekend and he didn't like it.  He said that now we know when we will be together and he likes that more.  He also said that he likes Oklahoma, because it is different, he likes the green, he likes that it is cooler and I know that he likes that there is less tension.

Last night, I also talked to Andy and he said that he thinks it would be easier if I was in Arizona because we could see each other more.  He cried because he knows that there are only a couple more days.  Then I left the room and could hear Alex and Andy talking.  Andy stopped crying and said "What were we talking about Alex?"  They went back to talk about navy seals and why aren't there any girls in the navy seals.

Both conversations made me realize that they adjust quicker than I do.  A major change in thier life, right now is not something that they really want.  They have friends in school, Alex likes his teachers.  Alex does the morning newscast to the entire school, on the school TV.

Today, we will enjoy our day together.  The entire time has just been great, everything has worked out.  I think both of the boys have grown emotionally and physically in the last 5 weeks.  Alex looks taller and Andy looks stronger and so happy.  I know that they will take some of what they have learned from me back with them.  I know that they won't forget.

Well, let's see how long these photos last. I am using Moblog to hold them. They from the Sony Ericsson t616 camera phone, so they are not the best quality, but hey.. I have photos on my page :)
