Thanksgiving

What a nice time

On Wed the 24th my family celebrated Andy's birthday. He seemed so happy and he read each card and thanked everyone. I won't go into all the details of the weekend here, but we had a great time. Alex and Andy visited their cousins and thier grandparents and we all just relaxed and smiled.

Then, last night I took them back. When we arrived at thier mother's house... their grandmother was out front.. yelling.. saying that there was an amber alert out for the boys and pointing at my father and saying that he was aiding and abetting...?? and my ex wife decided to join in and yell obsenities and mock chinese at my wife. The boys ran in the house. What a terrible way to end such a nice weekend. I guess they thought that the boys were supposed to be back at 5pm.. they misread the court papers.. it specifically says 6pm..and we were even a few minutes early.

I don't understand what they think that they are doing what they are trying to prove. My father got home and had a nasty message on his answering machine.. he was accused of kidnapping and he is so angry. we all are angry, however, I am going to remember all the smiles and hugs and how on Sunday afternoon.. Andy sat at the dining room table reading each of his birthday cards again.. he seemed a little sad and he came over and gave me a hug. I said "you know you can take your cards with you" he said.. "you know that I can't, just save them here."
