I'm back

After my conference, I was feeling weak, then I got a cold and it has been lingering... coughing and headaches..

M's cousin, her husband and daughter came to visit this weekend. It was fun. They are on a 5,000 driving tour visiting relatives because they lived in the Cayman Islands and well.. everything was wiped out by the Hurricanes. They are on their way back now.

We went out for dinner on Saturday and had Thai food at my favorite local Thai restaurant. It is a strange place.. well, first it is here in Tulsa ..and the building probably was some sort of a bbq joint.. or maybe a big steakhouse in a previous life.. now it is Thai and the waitresses all dress in traditional thai clothes... then there is the live band that plays everynight.. not always the same band.. On saturday it was a jazzy guitar and singing duo.. not bad.. just not Thai :) but hey the food is GREAT and it helped clear up the chest.. I love that Tom Kai Gui.. soup.

Then on top of that.. they brought food from M's mom... yummy Filipino food.. Adobo, Caldereta and some other stuff.. yum.. yum..

I am in Lubbock, Texas today.. on business... not likely that I"ll find good food tonight.. I am backing off of red meat for awhile.

69. My favorite band is U2 but I really disliked them when I was younger. I think it was their first album that I didn’t like.
70. I sometimes realize my age, but most of the time I would never guess that I am as old as I am.
71. I had to go pee at number 54, but waited until number 70.. so I wouldn’t lose my train of thought.
72. I stopped taking my asthma medicine and I guess I don't have asthma anymore
73. I used to be a hard core punk rocker and I ran a skateshop, hung out with Henry Rollins and have a pin in my foot from a skateboard accident.
