Garden in the morning
It was misty and a little foggy on Sunday morning when I took this photo. A few months ago, my entire backyard was grass.. I terraced 1/2 of the yard and put in 5 tons of stone, including this wall and the walkways. It's hard to get it all in one photo. This weekend, we had butterflies, moths, bees and humingbirds in are new garden.
Political comment
I am honestly worried about what is going to happen to America if George W. Bush gets re elected. I believe that this is one of the most important elections in our history. We are really at a crossroads. I hope that everyone that is going to vote, truly looks at all of the issues at hand. I can't believe that people would really think that the rest of the world doesn't matter, if they don't like us.. they can just go f themselves.. that is what I hear. That is what people tell me. My father says.. "if you are not with us, then you are against us" He is voting for Bush. Come on... not only do we live in a smaller world because of the internet, the entire world economy is interelated.. just try to buy anything that is made in the USA, you can't even get an American flag that is made in the USA. I believe that is a huge issue. Unfortunately, there are many people that believe that it doesn't matter.
Birthday update :)
730... my birthday :) It was a nice day, M came home early and we took it easy. I had a feeling that I would get a call from the boys. I tried to call them, but there was no answer. At 7pm M and I went to the movies. We say Bourne Supremacy, it was good. When we got home, there was a message on the phone... "Hi Dad, this is Andy, Happy Birthday, here's Alex, Hi DAd, Happy Birthday, this is Alex... Bye"
I missed the call, but maybe if I was home, they wouldn't have been able to talk to me. Thanks boys.. that made my day and thanks M, for making every day special.
