it's good

Cool

The weekend went great! We had so much fun! Price Tower was cool, although it made us claustrophobic, it's pretty small inside. We watched a movie, took a tour and had lunch on the 16th floor. That was pretty cool... Here is a photo It is open to the outside with wing like louvers (spelling?) It's all made of copper and it has a metropolitan feel, from the copper menus to the plates to the furnishings. Then you look out past the building and see
green country of northeastern Oklahoma and the home of the Phillips oil company.

After lunch we went to Woolaroc... awesome!! just Awesome! Our first stop was the Mountain Man camp. Here are the boys in front of a teepee. We threw hatchets at a bunch of logs (I stuck 2 out of 3 of them) and shot an old flint lock rifle. The boys were going through the museum so slowly, taking in EVERY exhibit that I felt like speeding them up. I knew that they would be tired at the end. Andy got more and more excited as he saw the old Colt 45s and Winchester rifles. We loved the Museum, it really is amazing. On the way out, we saw a sign that said... "old north road open" what a stroke of luck that I took that road. We went out to the very first oil well in Oklahoma and then took a drive around the property. The drive is about 5 miles I guess, but it seems like more because you feel so far away from everything, like you took the wrong road in Jurasic Park. All of a sudden you are out in the middle of nowhere, snakes going across the path... deer and buffalo roaming without fences only feet from the car. Then we came up on some longhorn cattle.. they were almost in the road. We stopped and one with 6ft long horns almost stuck his nose in the window at Andy!

On the way home we stopped at Jared's in Bartelsville for some frozen custard... yum!

Today, I took my bike to 3 different bike stores to get a new seat post and seat. When we moved, mine came up missing. I never knew that there were so many sizes. Tonight after dinner, the boys and I went bike riding.. sure it was hot out.. so we lasted about 30 minutes.. but it was still fun.
