Bin Laden is back

I was talking to a student today and she said that she had the TV on because she was listening to Bin Laden and his threats to "Kill Americans...."

Ok... what is the point? Hasn't he already said this? Why now, why come out and add to his threats? Is he not getting enough air time? Saddam has been stealing his spotlight?

or... is it something else...

The American Public is apathetic... aren't we.. we forget.. we.. talk about Joe Millionaire.. and forget about terror. What is the purpose of suicide bombers? It's not to kill a few people.. it's to incite fear into the masses.

So, because we aren't on edge... we are again given a reason to be on edge. I don't think that Level Orange will cause anyone personally to do anything different than they would if we were at Level Green. People will still make travel plans. We will go about our day like we normally do. Will we be a little bit more nervous....

just being honest here... Will you do anything differently?

I have to comment about what is going on in Iraq.. or what is going to happen. Because.. like it or not.. something is going to happen. I talk to too many people each day that are telling me that they are mobilizing.. that they have been told to go anytime in the next couple of months. People that provide training...etc. they are gearing up for war and a big war.

Would the American public support a war that was all about oil? It's not about Muslims...Osama.... it's about our economy. It's about the U.S. dollar.. and there is a guy over there that nobody really likes.. he is as wacko as my ex wife and equally deceptive and manipulative.

So.. if George W. can make the point that Osama is... Saddam.. then.. the war isn't about oil.. not about weapons of mass destruction.. it's about terrorism.. right George?

right?

So.. get ready.. because... that's what's coming.. a second war on terrorism... the war against Saddam.. and it's coming soon... to a television screen near you.

Unfortunately... some of the war will be fought right here in North America. Somehow, we have held off those terrorist attacks.. or they haven't gotten through to be successful, but something will eventually happen.

Now.. don't think that I am against this war.. It's just that I think that Osama Bin Laden's comments are very opportune... but not for Osama.
