5 weeks went by!

Well, the boys are going back to Arizona tomorrow.. we had another great time. When Alex and Andy came, they were pale and skinny.. I think that in the past 5 weeks, they have gotten stronger and healthier. We spent a lot of time outside.

This photo says it all. The boys personalities are very different. Andy wants to be a tough guy, but he really is a bit shy... I bet that Andy would want to live here in the future, but Alex doesn't... or maybe he does, I don't know. I do know that Alex has changed, he still is a kid and maybe not as mature as some 13 year olds, but that is a good thing! Andy loves skateboarding and while he was here, I took him to some great skate parks.

Last Saturday, we went to a skatepark with one of the boys friends from their summer camp. Andy is in the following picture tearing up the ramp and Alex and his friend are joking around. That is Alex.. he likes to talk, laugh, joke around, but he will sit on his skateboard. I know that Andy is proud that he pushed himself a little more on his board. I made him wear his helmet, which he wasn't happy about, but I felt better telling him to go for the bigger drop ins and to try that kick flip on the ramp :)
