People watching

I don't really have a hobby...unless you call people watching a hobby. I am comfortable in airports, although all these changes in security week to week keep me confused enough so I don't feel like a frequent traveller. Taking my shoes off when I don't need to, or showing my ID when it isn't necassary.. I used to travel pre 9-11 and it was easier. Anyway, I love to people watch. I can sit at an airport for hours and not get bored. I make up little stories in my head about the people that walk by. Where are they going, which of them are air marshalls..who is sad, who is happy. When I was in college, I was a fairly lonely guy. I didn't really have any friends...well except one, but you can't spend all of your time with one person..well I guess you can. Anyway, I considered my sisters to be my best friends. My youngest sister's name was Jennifer and she too liked to people watch. So much so that on Friday nights she would go to the airport with a friend and pretend she was going somewhere. She would check the flights... pick a place that she wanted to go and then wait and watch... until that flight took off. She would even eat at the airport. A fun night out :)

My sister died in a car crash.. years ago.. killed by a drunk driver. Everytime, I am in an airport.. I remember my sister(my guardian angel) and I enjoy my time waiting.... as if it was a Friday night out.
