Just stuff on a Wed.
I am not going to talk about the boys and all that until I have some new news. I stopped by the Boys and Girls Club that they are going to visit while I am at work and they were very nice to let the money I paid, float until I get the boys.
I am not going to stress about it. Next week, I have a conference time set and I am sure the judge will be fair and I will see the boys for the second half of the summer instead of the first. No need to worry about it.. actually all this time away from the boys.. will make it very hard on my ex wife to use the arguement that she doesn't want them away from her for too long of a period.. after she didn't let me talk to them or see them for 6 weeks.. I think she will not have much to stand on.
Anyway.. today I was talking to this student from India.. nice guy.. but he got his MBA from this school and I did a little checking on the website.. here is one of the quotes....
"If you're like most working adults, earning a college degree is out of the question for two reasons: time and money. You don't have the time to study while you're working, and you can't afford to stop working and invest thousands of dollars in a degree. This is where Almeda's Life Experience Degree program can help. You've already invested the time. Now all you have to do is tell us what you've done. If you qualify, you could have your degree for about the price of a new TV! "
What a scam... the poor guy. He sent in his money and his resume and they gave him an MBA... of course it is not accredited nor will anyone accept it towards a Doctroate degree.
Crazy...
I still enjoy talking to people from all over the world. Iwas talking this this nice lady in Jamaica th other day.. she was cooking dinner when her son came in the house and dropped 5 live crabs on the floor. While she was on the phone with me, she went running after the crabs and threw them in a pot. She said "tonight we are having crabs and rice!" so funny.. the island life must be incredible.
