Hmmmm...

Well, that was a strange couple of days.

I am going to try to get my boys tonight.. wish me luck.

Yesterday, I went to lunch with an old friend. It was nice to see him. We used to work together and then I left for another hotel chain. I also got another friend in at the new company. then he came over. He lives in Kansas and is a regional director.. at the time, I was too. Then I took a promotion to Director of Group Sales for the entire company. I felt good about it, but all my friends told me that I was crazy for leaving the other job. I met my wife there.. so I can have no regrets... Well.. I do regret not being in the industry that I love.. which is the Hotel industry.

So, I sent out a few emails.. now.. this may be confusing..

I have another friend that I met at this big hotel chain. We became friends at conventions and meetings and would converse via email. I had heard that she wasn't happy in her current position.. and that she was ready to quit. She lives in Oklahoma. Ok.. well when I was out of work... Someone from another big hotel chain came to me and asked if I would be interested in moving to Oklahoma.. I said no.. but I knew of someone.

She got the job.. and she is very happy. Now she is moving on to Dallas.. and maybe.. just maybe I may want her job in Oklahoma City.

I mean.. maybe it would be better to move.

I applied.. so let's see what happens.
