It's a small world

Today, I am going to visit with Andy's teacher. She actually called me and scheduled a parent/teacher conference!

The other day my best friend was having dinner with one of his neighbors. They were talking about the schools that their kids go to... and she said that the only complaint she has about the school that she sends her son to is that there is this crazy family that lives across the street from the school. She said that on the first day of school this year she tried to find a parking space, so she could walk her son to school, but there were none in the parking lot, so she parked in a neighborhood close to school. She said that when she got out of her car, she was verbally assaulted by this old woman that was upset that she was parking on her street. She felt threatened and was upset that on the first day of school, she got yelled at in front of her son. She said that she didn't park in that neighborhood again, but that she noticed that another woman was yelling at the crossing guard one day so she went up to find out what was wrong. She said that the woman was upset about people parking on her street and that the crossing guard should report it to the police. Then one day, she dropped off her son and he forgot his lunch... so she pulled up on the side of the road and yelled out the window. Her son came back to get his lunch and this man in a purple truck was honking and screaming at her about stopping in traffic, in the school zone!

Then she found out that all three of these people are related. She talked to some other mothers and they all know about this crazy family that lives across the street from the school. They have two boys that go to the school... Alex and Andy... they are nice boys, but it sure is sad about the family that they come from.

My friend called me up the next day to tell me that my ex wife and ex in-laws are infamous at the school. How sad.
